Do I have to pay commission to the buyer’s agent to sell or lease my property?

Do I have to pay commission to the buyer’s agent to sell or lease my property?

This is your option and not mandatory.  Buyer’s agents are used to receiving approximately 2.5% of the selling price on most homes, 1/2 month rent for residential leases, or a percentage of commercial space leased. However, it is your choice how much you offer if any.

Some Private Seller’s see the value a buyer’s agent can bring and since your are saving so much by listing with us, you can offer them a higher than average commission to help you get your property sold or leased.

Everything is negotiable, so depending on how good their offer is you can compensate them accordingly.

Other’s want to avoid paying any commission and that’s okay too!

With your Maximum Exposure on REALTOR.ca, buyers will see your property, whether they are working with an agent or not.
