Kijiji, Craigslist, REALTOR.ca – WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

Kijiji and Craigslist are  great places to start when advertising your property For Sale By Owner (FSBO).  Both sites are free and you have control of the content and instant gratification.  But every time a new ad is posted, yours drops lower until it is no longer visible on the first page. Unless you pay for a bump to the top spot or featured ad on Kijiji, you will have to post a new ad, sometimes several times a day. There is no way to search by map and see all listings in one specific area easily.

REALTOR.ca (MLS.ca) is where serious buyers are looking, whether or not they are using an agent.  You can easily search in any area with the map and focus your search further within your specific criteria (waterfront, price,size, etc)
